Begin your walking tour of Manchester outside the Town Hall, admire the Central Library, hear where
Rolls met Royce, see the Bridgewater Hall, stroll alongside Deansgate Locks, and learn about Roman
Manchester, the Museum of Science & Industry, John Rylands Library and the Hidden Gem. Walk
through St Ann’s Square; hear about the Royal Exchange Theatre and how an IRA bomb in 1996 led to
new developments. Walk along New Cathedral Street and into Exchange Square, site of the Manchester
Wheel and the Old Shambles; then onto Manchester Cathedral, before ending in Cathedral Gardens.
